Kitara will return to Bombo Military grounds but this time around for a different assignment against UPDF football club.
The officially released fixtures of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League second round indicate that the Royals begin with a trip away to Bombo on February 13, 2025.
We return home at the Royals Park in Butema to host Bright Stars FC four days later.
After these two games, there will be a two weeks break to allow the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 and FUFA Drum tournament to take place across different selected venues in the country.
URA FC visit the Royals Park stadium in Butema on match day 18 on the first day of the month of March.
A week later, Kitara hit the road again towards the Eastern part of the country to face BUL FC in a yet to be confirmed venue.
The western derby between Kitara FC and Mbarara City FC will take place on March 14, in Hoima. The Royals have not won this fixture in a while hence it will be one of the exciting ties to look forward to in March.
Wasswa Bbosa’s side end the month with an away game versus Police FC at the Kavumba recreation grounds.
Five in April:
A tight schedule awaits us with 5 tough fixtures in line. One of the most awaited games of the league is Kitara vs KCCA which will take place on 5th April in Butema.
There will be another score to settle at the MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo between NEC FC and Kitara on the night of 10th April.
Whether we complete a double over new entrants Lugazi FC will be a matter to be decided on 15th April at the Royals Park Butema.
Kitara play host to Wakiso Giants on the last day of April but will have to visit SC Villa at a yet to be know venue four days earlier.
May Matters:
The final bend separates the men from the boys, the 2024/25 league champion and who gets relegated will all be sorted in May.
Wasswa Bbosa starts May with a visit to his former side, Express FC at the Hamz Stadium – Nakivubo and later host Maroons in Butema.
Our last home game and most important fixture will be played on 17th when we host bitter rivals Vipers SC before ending our league campaign away against Mbale Heroes.
