SUPL Match day 15:
7 -Jan- 2025
Kitara FC 🆚 SC Villa
4PM
Royals Park – Butema

Kitara host SC Villa this evening at the Royals Park in Butema in a game where the Wasswa Bbosa coached side will be targeting to end the first round of the Uganda Premier League on a good note.

The Royals missed the opportunity to climb into seventh position on the table following their barren stalemate with Wakiso Giants at Nakivubo.

Currently in 9th place, Kitara can finish the first round of the league above BUL, SC Villa and URA if they win and the trio lose their matches today. A victory will see Kitara move to 21 points.

For the Joggos, their narrow 1-0 victory over URA over the weekend was a morale boasting result having been winless since November 23, 2024.

Morley Byekwaso’s side had lost to NEC before drawing three successive matches all ending one all with Lugazi FC, Police FC and KCCA FC.

The visitors face a huge test against the Royals who have looked sharp at home recently netting 17 goals and conceding none in three games.

Kitara won 4-0, 6-0 and 7-0 over UPDF, Mbale Heroes and Express FC respectively.

The previous three meetings between the two sides in the league have seen both teams score making today’s encounter an exciting one.

Can Villa unlock Kitara’s backline that has not leaked a goal in six straight games? The Royals Park Butema awaits.
