Kitara FC coach Wasswa Bbosa declared his side is treating every game as a final after a vital 2-0 victory over Entebbe UPPC propelled them into second place in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Tuesday.
Speaking after the Royals win, Bbosa emphasized the critical nature of the second round. “This is the second round of the league where you only face a team once,” he stated.

“Therefore we are giving it our all. There are 12 games left to play in the league and we are focused on first, winning those matches, one at a time. You can’t be champions without winning these games.
“The victory, powered by new signings Kabon Living and Edson Agondeze, who scored and assisted respectively, showcased the immediate impact Bbosa sought to address injuries to key forwards Jimmy Kalema and Isaac Amutuhaire.

“Well these are quite experienced players,” Bbosa said of the duo. “We have been lacking in depth and quality upfronta after being hit by injuries we wanted players who would impact the team immediately and you all saw what two of the new players gave us.

“He added confidently, “We believe they will bring a new dimension to the team and help us achieve our objective this season.
“The win leaves Kitara just two points adrift of leaders Vipers SC, firmly establishing their title credentials.
Attention now briefly turns to our next fixture, a trip to face UPDF FC at Bombo military playgrounds this Friday.

The Royals won the reverse fixture 2-1 with Jimmy Kalema and winger Chrispus Asiki finding the net while Samuel Ssekamatte who has since moved to NEC FC scored for the army side.
